Need a Restraining Chute for your grooming and medical needs?
We, here at Gin Creek Ranch, have designed a very lightweight, portable chute that is durable, yet easily transportable. The main caretakers on the Ranch are females under 5'3". So, us girls got together and designed what we think is the "perfect" chute for the handlers and the llamas.
Folding compactly into a small size, Our chute was fabricated so it could be loaded and unloaded by a small framed woman.
So a big strong man should have no problem at all!
In addition to this, your new chute can be custom built for your needs. You might think of something we haven't even come up with yet! Of course, as women, we believe the details are important. We can paint your new chute to match your very well thought out farm colors.
For the sake of economics, we offer your new chute in steel or aluminum. We prefer aluminum for portability. However, steel is a little cheaper.
We use our chute daily and would never think about NOT having one around. The chute allows an individual, regardless of size, to be independent around the llamas and the daily chores that we all want to do to maintain a healthy herd.
And BTW, we have used our chute for many other breeds of animals: sheep, goats, calves and alpacas. (We have also been guilty of using it for our puppy dogs when we need that 3rd and 4th hand!)
