The Normans have many llama memories to treasure, including taking family trips to llamas shows, seeing the athleticism of their llamas competing in performance classes and winning many ribbons. Here are some of their other favorite memories:
Being bundled up in warm-ups, rubber boots and gloves and breathing the crisp, winter air while walking through the pasture to greet a newborn cria.
Seeing the expressions on others' faces when they meet a llama up close for the first time.
Watching their llamas pronk in the pasture late in the afternoon as daylight succumbs to darkness.

The Cutest Crias!
The most important focus at Gin Creek Ranch is to have the cutest, most adorable crias anywhere. The Normans like diverse styles of llamas. Their breeding program is based upon positive traits they'd like to carry forward to offspring. Dispostion is important. They are also very careful not to breed unwanted animals; therefore selective breeding is very important to them. Finally, llamas with great fiber are in demand. Many spinners and weavers use fiber from the Normans' llamas, including the weavers from the Pueblos in Northern New Mexico, some of the finest textile makers to be found.
In a nutshell, the Normans plan to keep a manageable herd of quality animals to enhance the Ranch Lifestyle!
