The Collectible Llama Event was a great success!
Thanks to all for the great show. We had a great time and learned so much from the demonstrations. The visual demonstration of conformation with the animals in the showring was awesome. We really could not believe the depth of the lectures from the foremost experts in the camelid industry. Good applicable practices that we learned to take back to the barn. This, alone, more than covered our investment in this show. What a bonus. So much better than any show we have ever been to. The feedback and education we received regarding our animals from the show was invaluable!
Most of all, we were judged fairly, with no hidden agendas and no favors.
The Slick Pig served wonderful griddle cakes with bbq. We all brought party food and spent time, just sittin' and visitin' with folks. The facilities were comfortable, warm and clean, even though the temperature outside dipped to 19 degrees.
